Latinized forma de Griego Κασσιοπεια (Kassiopeia) or Κασσιεπεια (Kassiepeia), possibly meaning cassia juice. In Griego myth Cassiopeia was the wife of Cepheus and the mother of Andromeda. She was changed into a constellation and placed in the northern sky after she died.
